I’m Timothy (Tim) Steffensmeier - Founder of SteerPoint Coaching Co., executive coach, career strategist, and passionate advocate for helping professionals take intentional steps toward purpose and impact.

Over the past 20 years, I’ve led national teams, grown commercial partnerships, and championed sustainable technologies across industries. My success didn’t happen by accident - I’ve relied on coaches and mentors at every stage to challenge my thinking, clarify my direction, and help me take ownership of my career. That’s the same clarity I now help others find.

I’ve been coaching informally for nearly a decade - supporting peers, colleagues, and emerging leaders as they’ve pivoted roles, redefined their leadership brand, or stepped into bigger opportunities. After enough people told me, “You should be doing this for real,” I listened and launched SteerPoint Coaching Co.

I specialize in helping:

Outside of work, I’m a husband to an amazing wife I definitely don’t deserve, and a proud dad to two sons and a daughter.
Our oldest has special needs and is a musical wonder…when he practices.
Our other son has a brain that could rival Elon Musk…when applied.
And our daughter somehow splits her time between sports, award-winning art, and being the steady voice of reason in our house.

We’re far from perfect, but we grow a little every day as we navigate life… together.

I’m also the proud human of two loyal golden retrievers and one slightly unhinged cat who’s pretty convinced she runs the house (and she might be right).
